loss of a terrific season.
The only question may be regarding how much energy they were forced to use up b
exerting relentless pressure on Sunderland - the wisdom in re-arranging th
Saints game to Sunday may prove to be a masterstroke, giving Everton an extra 2
hours to rest weary limbs.
The visitors will arrive off the back of one of their most comprehensiv
performances of the season so far, as amidst the highly-charged atmosphere o
the Cardiff City Stadium they were able to cruise ruthlessly to their bigges
away win of the campaign.
It was a timely result too as, despite continuing to impress all those who watc
them, it actually ended a poor run of six winless games and eight without
clean sheet.
They'll also have fond memories of their most recent visit to Merseyside, whe
they inflicted Liverpool's first defeat of the season back in September.
